Counselling & Psychotherapy

We strongly believe that counselling & psychotherapy should be available for everybody, and as such, we are happy to agree a fee that is affordable for you, no matter what your circumstances are. Please do call or e-mail to discuss your requirements further and to see how we may be able to help you.

Session costs are dependent on the therapist that you would like to see. We will agree a fee that is affordable on a case by case basis.

Please note, Cassandra does not have any subsidised spaces available, lower cost Psychosexual and Relationship therapy is available with our other Psychosexual and Relationship specialists.

Each therapy session is 50 minutes in duration. Clients usually choose to attend counselling on a weekly basis but this can be discussed and tailored to suit the needs of each individual. Couples have the option of booking a double session (100 minutes) for their initial appointment as there can often be a lot to discuss.

COVID-19 Update

As a Psychotherapy and Counselling service, we recognise that during this period, therapists and clients are unable to meet in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have, therefore, taken the advice and guidance from the Government and regulatory bodies that we are members of, including COSRT and BACP for clients and therapists to discuss what therapeutic support is required. We will then identify with each individual if this can be successfully delivered safely, via online sessions. We will continue to monitor the information provided and adhere to any changes in due course but the centre and therapists are still available to provide full therapeutic support during this time.

If you are directed to the answerphone service, this is usually because we are working with clients. The answerphone is confidential and will only be heard by staff at the centre. As well as stating your name and telephone number, please also confirm if you are looking for individual or couples counselling and an appropriate time to call you back, or a telephone number that you can be reached directly.

If we return a call and receive an answerphone, we will leave a message (unless you specifically ask us not to) but will not leave any details regarding counselling or session details to protect your confidentiality.
